Hey all you Ice Fishermen/Ice Fisherwomen; Come and Fish on Chequamegon Bay!

Ice fishing is well underway on Chequamegon Bay, with perch, northerns, brown trout and cohos all biting at this time. The Ashland side of the bay is good for light travel (ATV’s and Snowmobiles). The Washburn side of the bay is good for foot travel at this time. The fishing guides always remind you to call ahead for ice fishing reports. The fishing guides and bait shops know when and where the ice has safely formed. In general; there are many good fishing oportunities going on right now! Check out the web site for a complete listing of Fishing Guides and Bait Shops or call the Ashland Chamber at 800-284-9484.
